Not having enough time to live healthy [RANT]

If you feel stuck in a rut, this video will challenge your thinking
Each morning, I wake up and drink a litre of water, enjoy a cup of organic coffee, do some training or go for a walk, sit in the sauna, have a smoothie… all that good stuff.
And then I get all these comments from people saying, “oh, wouldn’t it be nice to have all that time on your hands. I can’t do that because I have to work to make a living.”
You know what, I get it. A lot of people today have a belief system that they need to work harder and longer hours just to survive. And in my opinion, it’s bullshit.
If you’re working in a job you hate, or doing hard labour and working long hours, or you are left feeling lost or missing out on time with your family, then maybe… just maybe, you could change that.
How?
Believe in yourself.
Look. I think it’s great what you’re willing to go through, but do you really have to? What if you search deep inside you. Is there a passion in there that wants to come out?
Ask yourself:
- What do I believe about my life?
- Is a nine-to-five job (or the job I’m doing) the best option for me?
- Is there another option that I haven’t thought of?
- In a perfect world, what would my life look like? What would I most love to do?
Maybe at some point, you tried something you were passionate about and maybe you failed. But you know what… When you fail at something and it doesn’t work out, that’s the universe testing to see what you’re made of.
A lot of people are like: “Oh, I can’t do that. I’m not good enough. I don’t have the qualifications. I don’t have the schooling. I don’t have the money. I don’t have the … I can’t … I’m not good enough. I just have to work a job.”
If that’s what you want to believe, great. But tell me… what’s the payoff? Is it keeping you safe? Are you trading your dreams for familiar comfort?
Come on… Pull it out. Get your shit together. Get up early and exercise, and do whatever you have to do to motivate yourself.
If you have to work nine-to-five, then work nine-to-five and after that, live your passion. The system is designed to work your ass into the ground, make you pay for Lasix online taxes and leave you feeling as if there’s no time to do your own thing, and that sucks.
But I believe in you.
Eat healthy foods, move your body and change your mindset. Say to yourself: “I am great. I am powerful. I am strong. I am healing. I am good enough. People love being around me. I have multiple streams of income.”
Look at Tony Robbins. The shit is true. It works!
I’m only sharing this rant because I love you. I want to see you grow. I want to see you prosper.
So I really hope this post challenges your thinking and plants a seed.
If this resonates with you in some way, even if it triggers something uncomfortable, I’d love you to share your thoughts with me here. It’s an oldie but a goodie!
Life is so much simpler than we often make it out to be.
Every problem is just the opportunity for a solution and I vote your victory.
